1:00 AM poetry

Someone set the thermostat on my building's oil burner to 80 degrees. My apartment, being directly and immediately over the furnace, is mighty warm.

Fire and Ice
Some say the world will end in fire,
Some say in ice.
From what I've tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.
But if it had to perish twice,
I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction ice
Is also great
And would suffice.

Nice poem. Speaking of poems...did you find the Klop Droog poem a while back? Or does it exist now only in our memories?

cjblue, hey...you're on my blog!
Yes, I did find it a while back, but I have no idea where it is now. In a black binder somewhere was last I saw it.

"klop droog" is the title and refrain in a late night pfg/cjblue poem inspired by the multilingual directions on the back of a face masque and other natural herbal substances. We believe the phrase means "pat dry" although we are not sure. You'll be happy to know that a google search for the phrase turns up only this comment.
